A Gift

I had the honor of creating something very special for my good friend to display at her wedding.  The poem (sorry, had to hide it) meant a lot to her, her fiance (now hubby), and family, as it signified the memory of someone dear to their hearts they had recently lost.

I know I have been teasing you for a while, so here it is!
It turned out so much better than I imagined.  The only non-CTMH products I used were the canvas and the green tulle.
I mixed Champagne reinker and pearl paint (retired) and then painted the canvas - it gave it a light hue and gorgeous shimmer.

All the flowers were cut from the Artiste Cricut cartridge.  I rolled them using the Quilling Tool and adhered them with a glue gun.  After scoring the pedals of the leaves to give them dimension, I layered them throughout the flowers, even cutting some apart for a different look.
The title & poem I printed onto Champagne cardstock and cut out. The title of the poem is mounted with the Thin 3D Foam Tape on a Artiste Cricut cut frame.  Everything is adhered to the canvas with either Liquid Glass or via a hot glue gun.

I used leftover hearts from the inside of the leaves from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge (which I used in a project you'll see Sunday!).  I cut pieces of the green tulle and fanned them between and under the flowers (adhered with a hot glue gun).  It just came together beautifully!
