Art With An Attitude Blog Hop - Taste of Summer

The Stampers with an Attitude team is doing a blog hop, themed {Art with an Attitude}!!  "Who are we?" you might ask?  We are Close to My Heart (CTMH) consultants, who are passionate and talented crafters!

You are in the right place if you just came from

For this blog hop, you'll be hopping through inspirations using the May National Scrapbooking Month's paper pack (& stamp set) Taste of Summer.  This paper pack & stamp set are ONLY available during May 2015!!

Here is a card I made using this bright and cheery paper pack - perfect for Mother's Day!

I stamped the flowers in first generation and then second generation on White Daisy cardstock; alternating tones in the flowers.  I cut them out using the amazing Micro-Tip scissors and used the 3D Foam Tapes to alternate their heights (bottom Sunset flower in the corner is lifted with the regular 3D foam tape; while the two big flowers on both sides are lifted with the Thin 3D foam tape. The other small flowers are adhered directly to the card).  Then I just stamped the different leaf-stamps to give it a pop of color and a home for the flowers.

The flaps open up to the message I wrote to my mom.  The card fits in a standard envelope too.

Products used: Blossom Cardmaking WOTG stamp set; Shower Flowers (C1612); Taste of Summer paper pack; Score Board; White Daisy & Sunset cardstock; Sunset, Pear, Black, & Cranberry Stamp Pads, Pink Glitter Gems; Regular & Thin 3D Foam Tape.

    1. Thanks Wendy! Fussy cutting is necessary sometimes ;0) Wasn't too bad though & love the outcome. I'll be sharing another version later.
